JOKE OF THE WEEK!!

Two elderly ladies had been friends for many decades. Over the years, they had shared all kinds of activities and adventures. Lately, their activities had been limited to meeting a few times a week to play cards.

One day, they were playing cards when one looked at the other and said, "Now don't get mad at me... I know we've been friends for a long time, but I just can't think of your name! I've thought and thought, but I can't remember it. Please tell me what your name is..."

Her friend glared at her for at least three minutes. She just stared and glared at her. Finally she said, "How soon do you need to know?"

Helen Gress Earns NJAR Sales Award

Helen was honored at the annual awards presentation held at Eagle Oaks Golf & Country Club in Farmingdale, New Jersey.

Three sisters, ages 92, 94 and 96, live in a house together. One night the 96 year-old draws a bath. She puts her foot in and pauses. She yells to the other sisters, "Was I getting in or out of the bath?"
The 94 year-old yells back, "I don't know. I'll come up and see." She starts up the stairs and pauses, "Was I going up the stairs or down?"
The 92 year-old shakes her head and says, "I sure hope I never get that forgetful, knock on wood." She then yells, "I'll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who's at the door.."

Al Veltri Speaks at LVE Italian American Club Meeting

It was an excellent meeting with lots of participation as President Isabel Cantlupe moderated.

The guest speaker was Albert S. Veltri, President & CEO of Veltri Realtors who gave an information-packed presentation on the real estate market. He specifically spoke about the local market in Leisure Village East as well as the regional market outside the community.

There was a lively questions and answer period where Mr. Veltri answered all the residents questions. He also drew a laugh from the crowd with some questions of his own...

'Who decided that a round pizza be put in a square box?"
"We put in our two cents, but only get a penny for our thoughts. Who gets the other penny?"
and
When you get to heaven, are you stuck for eternity wearing the same clothes you were buried in?"

After the presentation, President Cantlupe presented Mr. Veltri with an honorary membership in the club and enjoyed the pizza provided by Veltri & Associates, Realtors.

Since the weather is warmer the activity in Veltri & Associates, Realtors has pick up. Buyers' are out looking for a new home. I want to share with you the feed back we are getting from potential buyers. We hear quite often how beautiful the landscaping is. The village is neat, clean and sprouting new flowers. One buyer told me that the Village gave her a comforting feeling and would want to live here. Many buyers have told me that they feel safe here because of the great job the security guards are doing.
